It asks for the same information: Account name & password - for which it needs an internet connection to function!! Impulse anywhere DOES NOT give you any different start up screen to the normal version. ![]() Once you install by one of the other 2 methods listed above, offline activation should work fine.Ībsolute rubbish! If you read my post above you will see that I have done this already, I have followed all the guides, looked at all the forum posts, tried all all the solutions and no-one has even come close to providing an answer! The reason you are not able to use the offline activation is because you never get to the point that WindowBlinds is actually run, as you have not yet logged into Impulse to download and install. This will send an e-mail to you with a download link for WindowBlinds (which is one of few applications that still supports this and is not solely downloadable through Impulse). Alternatively, you can download the WindowBlinds installer by requesting your account info at /support. This will download a file you can use to install on an offline machine. You'll want to use Impulse Anywhere, available here: ![]() It will not get past this point on an offline machine. Yes, Impulse requires an internet connection to log in to the service.
